Ullman Sails Virginia is a full service loft offering expertise in sail repair, wash and new sail builds. Our loft staff services sails on boats sized from 8 ft to 300 ft in length, builds sails using traditional and modern techniques while supporting both cruising and racing customers. With a drop off location and sails office in Hampton, VA we are able to service the sailors of the Southern Chesapeake Bay with ease.
Our loft in Deltaville, Virginia is growing! Ullman Sails Virginia expanded into the Hampton Roads area in 2015, providing a drop off and pick up location and sales office for our customers in the most southern part of the Chesapeake Bay. In the last quarter of 2016 we moved our new sail production team into our newly acquired location, which is next door to the existing loft. Along with a new building, we acquired a brand new sewing machine capable of handing sails for boats as large as a 300 foot schooner that we will have in production through the spring of 2017. All sail repairs are done in our original building. Our extra space allows for our repair and new sail build teams to work more efficiently and provide faster completion times. Our talented team is currently building 75% of all new sails from beginning to end, including digitally cutting fabrics from our sail design program.
